About BethelWay.Or.Ke
Bethel Way means God’s Way or Godly Lifestyle.
Though a secular humanist initiative, Bethel Way is based on Genesis 2:15 that says that after creating man “the Lord God put him in the garden of Eden to cultivate and tend it” (New American Standard Bible). Food production or farming is not only a noble craft but also the oldest profession in history. God expects humans to produce food to sustain life.
BethelWay.Or.Ke focuses on Food Production or Farming: From the Farm to the Table from a journalistic (media and information) approach.
Operating out of Kenya, BethelWay.Or.Ke seeks to empower and equip players in the food production chain with knowledge and skills through training and consultancy for them to make informed decisions as they tackle any challenge besetting their work
BethelWay.Or.Ke also touches on policy, legislation, labour, training, technology and environmental factors as they all affect farming and food production.
BethelWay.Or.Ke puts emphasis on the small scale producer in both urban and rural areas.
In highlighting best practices, BethelWay.Or.Ke positions itself as a point of reference for farmers, traders, policymakers, consumers and seekers of information on the food value chain.
Nothing could be more effective than BethelWay.Or.Ke‘s DIY approach that enables players in the food system to troubleshoot and tackle challenges.
